Choose the Correct Record Office

Cherokee County divides jail, sheriff, court, city, state, tribal, and federal records among different custodians. CCDC is a trust under a County Jail Board, so its booking and discharge records do not belong to the sheriff by default. The contacts below reflect the July 31, 2026 research and should be checked on the linked official pages before a visit or filing.

Official supervision services

The office serves Cherokee County within a multicounty area. Its location does not prove that a named person reports there.

Use the home page for a named release and records request; parole and probation for supervision; the 24-hour release list page for the dated feed check; and the projected-date or VINELink pages for sentence estimates and custody alerts. For a state prisoner, use ODOC. For federal prison or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE route. Facility pages in the footer explain each system’s scope.
